Hello people....
This is my first journey into cyberspace via the blog. Through NSW Public Libraries we library workers are learning to be a part of this strange and exciting environment, by not talking face to face and developing personal human interaction, but by creating a relationship with a keyboard and screen. It is exciting because its new, but I wonder if it is isolating us.
We are participating in Learning 2.0 (and Stephen Fry says its good..and I'd believe him, wouldn't you?), so that we can be of assistance to our patrons and to be in touch with new technology that is forever changing our lives and living environment.
Even though I haven't truly reconciled myself with communicating with a keyboard, the show-off in me will no doubt embrace the oppurtunity to let the word know how much of a great person I am.
